We are temporarily unable to accept any more dogs. Still, Life Choice will be happy to help you with behavior issues to help you fulfill your responsibility to your pet, companion and friend. We still have numerous dogs available for adoption, so please email us at to find the perfect pet and companion for you!

Dolly
Dolly is a one year-old black part Aussie with no tail with white feet and white on her belly. She weighs about 40 pounds and was found tied to a tree outside a Memphis vet's office. She was very thin. I am fostering her inside and am not sure where she was before that. When I got her she was shy and fearful but has improved a lot.

Dolly has all her shots, is heartworm negative, and is spayed with no medical issues. She has a medium activity level and loves to play with other dogs. Dolly loves to walk, is obedient, and stays with me when walking in the woods. She uses the doggie door when she needs to go pottie. She walks well on a leash and is crate trained.

Dolly gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs and cats and is not a dominant dog. She is very affectionate and likes to sit on the couch with me with her head on my lap, and follows me everywhere. Dolly loves to walk and run and would be good with any style family as she gets along with kids. She just wants someone to love her.

Sam and Jackson
Sam (red/gold) and Jackson (gray/red/white) were found in the Cordova area a few months ago and were kept by a good Samaritan until a foster home could be found. Sam is a red bi Aussie purebred and Jackson is a purebred blue merle.   They are 3 or 4 years old.

These big guys are very sweet and affectionate, have yet to meet a stranger, and love to hug and kiss and get their bellies rubbed. They want to be as close to me as they can possibly get and would like to be lap dogs, but are just a tad too big for that (Jackson is 55 pounds, Sam is 53).

They get along well with all my dogs, from a Pomeranian to a Sheltie mix to Poodles. They are great with my grandchildren, but they are big and strong and need to be supervised around small children so as to not accidentally knock someone over in their enthusiasm.

They are on monthly heartworm preventive, are up to date on vaccinations, have been neutered, and are housebroken. If you want a bit a of loveable, 4-legged teddy bear, either of these guys will certainly fit that bill!

Contact Guardian Angel Pet Rescue in Memphis for these dogs at 901.591.6532 or by emailing debbie.homas@gmail.com.

Leo
Leo is a wonderful red and white male Aussie and is very sweet and loving.

He and another dog Leo had always been with were abandoned by their family of 3 1/2 years when the family moved away and left both dogs to fend for themseves.   A local animal rescuer fed them through the winter months until the property was sold.  The new property owners at first wanted to keep the dogs but when the other dog suddenly disappeared with no explaination the rescuer asked to take Leo and she called us.

Leo is shy and a little fearful from all that he has been through but you can tell he wants to love and trust again.   He is quite a real gentleman.  Leo is housetrained and would make a fantastic companion for someone willing to give him love and time to heal his heart.   Leo will be neutered soon. He is a beautiful Aussie.

Parfaye
ADOPTED!

Bailey
Bailey is a mostly Aussie mix.   He is a typical young male, playful, energetic, loving and looking for fun. Bailey would do well in a family home with enough activity to keep him busy.  He gets along with other dogs very well and is respectful of my horse.

Bailey is too active for very young children but older children would be wonderful for him to love, play frisbee or ball with or go for walks. He is doing very well on crate training and is learning polite house manners. He is so much fun to watch as he intertains himself with his toys.

Bogart
ADOPTED!

Bella
Bella is a beautiful blue merle Aussie/Terrier mix. She craves attention and can be very affectionate once she knows she can trust someone. She'd love to crawl up in your lap to get and give love. She's playful and will even make a toy of her food dish but she loves squeaky toys!

She is so much fun. Bella has medium energy but also calms down. Belle is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, is heartworm negative and on preventative, and she is dewormed.

She'd be a great addition to a home where she would feel safe and would do best with a small family with kids over six or single person. She does not like cats and needs to be a single pet. Bella knows "sit" and "come." She is crate trained and very good on a leash.

Antic
Antic is a beautiful white factor Aussie. She is two years old and spayed.  She is deaf.  Antic is crate trained and loves to play with other dogs.  She is just starting to learn hand signals but is very smart and has been very easy to train.

Antic learned the basics around the rescue very quickly.  She is loving and would do well in a home with gentle children.  Antic loves toys.  She is safe from the closing as she is now in foster care with ARFNets in Blount County but still in need of a forever home. Please help her.
